Sergey P. Gubin is Head of the Nanomaterials Chemistry Department at the N.S. Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, The Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow. Having obtained his academic degrees from M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, he spent most of his career working for the Russian Academy of Sciences. Professor Gubin has authored over 500 scientific publications and has received several scientific awards, including the Russian State Scientific Prize. He is a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and a long-term editorial board member of the Russian Journals 'Inorganic Materials' and 'Coordination Chemistry'.
