The forthcoming publication Kandinsky, Miro, Picasso et al. Back in Lucerne aims to provide an in-depth exploration of the historical and cultural significance of the iconic 1935 exhibition that brought together the artistic avant-garde of the time. It will feature carefully researched essays by leading academic experts, examining the art-historical context, the provenance of individual works, and the influence of the exhibition, ''these, antithese, synthese'', both domestically and internationally. A key highlight of this publication will be a facsimile reproduction of the original 1935 exhibition catalogue, originally designed with remarkable modernity by the renowned graphic artist Jan Tschichold.
