The object of this book is to state and explain the principles of Company Law in Bangladesh perspective. I have attempted to present the subject as briefly and concisely as possible. Relevant section numbers and case references have been mentioned, so that the students may find it convenient to refer to them. I hope, the book will be more helpful to the students of the subject Company Law, at the same time, also the professional examinees and practitioners of the Law. For writing this book necessary information, data and Companies Act, 1994 (Bangladesh)has been collected from different books, different websites, Govt. Act etc. I am grateful to all of them. Finally I hope that, this book will continue to help the students (Specially the students of Bangladesh) in their studies, preparation for their examinations as well as acquiring knowledge about Company Law.

Dr. Kudrat-E-Khuda Babu is Head of the Law Dept. of the University of Information Technology & Sciences(UITS); International member of Amnesty International and regular column writer. He worked in the daily Prothom-alo, ABC Radio and BLAST. Eight articles of him have been published in different journals including the journal of Oxford University.
