Hundreds of years after the battle for the red Earth of Earth Prime, humans have colonized the blue planet. The “Outers” - people who were exposed to the unique energy source Femto and now have special abilities - grew tired of their mistreatment by humanity on this new and dangerous planet. They took control of the Gardens, orbital defense satellites from where they rule the planet below with military might as the Sovereign Axiom. As humans struggle to survive on the planet's surface in the face of the elements and a race of organic-mechanical creatures called Immortals, a resistance organization called the Reclaimers has formed to challenge the Axiom's brutal rule.
