She was the author of The Divided City, The Children of Athena, The Experiences of Tiresia, Tragic Ways of Killing a Woman, and Mothers in Mourning, among other titles.Gregory Nagy is the Frances Jones Professor of Classical Greek Literature and a professor of comparative literature at Harvard University, where he is also the director of the Center for Hellenic Studies.Laura Slatkin is a professor at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at NYU and a visiting professor in the Committee on Social Thought at the University of Chicago.
