Informationen zum Autor Duncan Anderson MBE was head of war studies at Sandhurst Academy. He served as a founding academic mentor at the Iraqi Military Academy and later the Afghan National Army Officers’ Academy and his publications include The Battle for Manila (with R. M. Connaughton and John Pimlott, 1995), The World at War, 1939-45 (1998), The Fall of the Reich (2000), The Falklands War 1982 (2 002), Glass Warriors: The Camera at War (2005), The Eastern Front (2018). Dr Nic Fields started his career as a biochemist before joining the Royal Marines. Having left the military, he went back to university and completed a BA and PhD in Ancient History at the University of Newcastle. He was Assistant Director at the British School in Athens, Greece, and then a lecturer in Ancient History at the University of Edinburgh. Nic is now a freelance author and researcher based in south-west France.
