Kenneth Schramm, a lifelong resident of the Detroit area, is a transportation historian who shares his interest in the history of public transportation with his father, Jack Schramm, who worked for the Department of Street Railways for 40 years. Jack has co authored seven books and numerous articles on the history of streetcars, interurbans, and buses in Detroit and southeastern Michigan. Kenneth and Jack share their archives with local museums and libraries in slide shows and historical presentations.
