This paper focuses on the various dangers and atrocities that the author, all Rwandans and especially the victims mentioned here went through from the preceding republics to the climax of the hundred days of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsis. It covers the history of the unfortunate lives, including the flight of parents and children from the country, the mistreatment of children in school, the dismissal of Tutsi employees, including Aaron Rudahunga and his contemporaries, from public and private service, until their horrific deaths between April and July 1994. All of this happened while they were not accused of any wrongdoing. Worse still, their executioners were sometimes their acquaintances, neighbors, people to whom they had done good on more than a few occasions.
