About the author

David Pullen was brought up on a large mixed farm in East Anglia, where he spent every opportunity working. On leaving school he went on to study agricultural engineering before embarking on a career that has seen him undertake teaching and research posts in the UK and overseas. Collecting farm models, particularly those produced in Britain, has been a lifelong passion. David has written many articles about farm model collecting for some of the leading model and agricultural magazines. He also wrote A Pocket Guide to Britain Model Tractors 1948–1998.
