L'entrée de l'église est formée d'un narthex ou d'un porche ¿anqué de deux tours carrées entre lesquelles se termine le pignon de la grande nef un clocher s'élève souvent à la croisée du transept enfin le blocage employé pour les basiliques fait place à un appareil qui devient de plus en plus régulier à me sure qu'on approche du xn° siècle.
