Informationen zum Autor Jane Clarke (Author) Jane Clarke is the author of over 80 books for young children, including the award-winning Gilbert the Great series and Stuck in the Mud . She's also a children's poet, so she's thrilled to bits to have three rhyming picture books with Nosy Crow ( Who Woke the Baby, Old MacDonald's Things That Go , and I Saw Anaconda ). Jane enjoys visiting nurseries and primary schools, and loves animals, country walks, fossil hunts, meeting up with her sons and their families in the UK and USA, and having fun with her granddaughters. Charles Fuge (Illustrator) Charles Fuge was born in 1966 and grew up in Bath. He made his picture book debut in 1988 with Bushvark's First Day Out , which won both the Macmillan Prize and the Mother Goose Award. Since then Charles has illustrated over thirty books, a number of which he has also written. He is the illustrator for A Lullaby for Little One , written by Dawn Casey, and he lives in Dorset.
