Koreans currently form the biggest foreign community in the Philippines and settlement projects, such as the Korean Village proposed in Ligao City, Albay, are designed for the assimilation of Korean families, businessmen and organizations into Filipino community life. The proposed Korean Village herein studied has been the product of collaborative relations between the local governments of Ligao City, Philippines and Goyang City, South Korea. This book reports on the research work conducted by the authors in 2011 to determine the perceived development impact of the Korean Village project on Ligao City.
