Investigative reporter Daniel Becket is on special assignment in Finland. He is reluctant to travel to the wintry country in the dead of winter in search of an unknown force. His indignance in working with others further complicates the situation. The many mysteries surrounding the mountainous region known as the Korvatunturi Fell set the stage for secrecy and danger, and provide Dan a chance at a story of a lifetime.
If he succeeds in uncovering the hidden world of the fell, he will undoubtedly be the most respected reporter in the literary community. If he fails, it could cost him his life.

John Alan Snopkowski was originally from Connecticut, graduating with degrees in secondary education and guidance counseling. His first book, The Fell, is a sci-fi mystery and fantasy novel. His love for animals also inspired him to write a children's book about his dog entitled, Why Does My Dog Always Stare at Me? A former educator and coach, John is married, a father of two and currently resides in Florida.
