Cordelia's story takes place in the valley where she was born. There she learnt to fly in the skies above the valley, and it was there she learnt to find her voice and fight. It was here too that her father died and where she found courage and strength to stand up for what she believed. It was also in the valley that she found love with Barry and her fellow Valley Clan members. Indeed, it was in the valley that she fell in love with Barry and brought all the other clans together to fight off the lizard invasion.
Cordelia returns to the valley from the battle with Silas on the escarpment, not aware that she has been followed back into the lower valley by a cat.
But Cordelia's powers of perception remain strong and even as she and Barry and the other mytre settled back into life in the valley, Cordelia becomes increasingly aware that all is not as it should be, and that she will need to be strong and fight for her home, her chicks, and sky once more.
Lives are lost in the struggles and again Cordelia finds herself in a desperate fight for her life. Despite injuries from the cat, Cordelia fights on. Will her tenacity, courage and love be enough to save them all this time?
