Crystal Goodrich grew up in Tucson Arizona and has always had a love for clever wordplay, spooky stories, and picture books that hide small surprises in their art. Ruby is her debut children's book, inspired by her family's running joke about her relentless mission to swat any mosquito in sight. Her love for Halloween and all things mysterious made pairing a mosquito with a hunt of vampire humor the perfect mix.
