She delighted inphotographing the interaction of people and the artifacts they used.Commentaries on 50 of Rachel's photos were solicited from socialscientists around the world! and! these texts and photos constituted the2006 show Visualizing Social Science at the National Science Foundation.This volume is an extension of that exhibition.
