Mimina grew up alongside her master's children, Miriam and Chris, like siblings. She and Miriam were the same age, and every toy Miriam outgrew was passed down to Mimina. As they grew older, Mimina even learned to read and write with Miriam. Never did she feel ashamed that she was Miriam's slave.
