This book from the LNNS Series is composed of the best selected papers accepted for presentation and discussion at the 2025 International Conference in Information Technology & Education. The ICITED is a multidisciplinary conference with a special focus on new Technologies and Systems in the Education sector and was held between July 10 and 12, 2025. The ICITED 25 was supported by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, in Natal, Brazil and by IADITI International Association for Digital Transformation and Technological Innovation. António Abreu is a post-doctorate in Information Technologies and Systems, by the University of Coimbra, Department of Computer Engineering of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra. He is an associate professor at Porto Accounting and Business School/ Polytechnic University of Porto (Portugal). He has PhD in Software Engineering based on reusable components with human-machine interface applications, by the University of Vigo, and Master in Management Informatics by the University of Minho and Degree in Informatics Applied Mathematics by the Lusíada University. Between 2015 and 2018, he was a coordinator of the Professional Higher Technical Courses (CTeSP) of the Higher Institute and Accounting and Administration of Porto (ISCAP) and coordinator for Market Development of the Training Centre and Services Abroad of ISCAP.
João Vidal Carvalho is a post-doctorate in Technologies and Information Systems at the University of Coimbra. He is an associate professor at Porto Accounting and Business School/ Polytechnic University of Porto (Portugal). He has done PhD in Information Systems and Technology from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Master in Information Technology Management from the University of Minho, and Degree in Informatics/Applied Mathematics from the Portucalense University. He was (between 2020 and 2022) the vice-director of the Research Center for Organizational and Social Studies of the Polytechnic of Porto (CEOS.PP). He is an effective member of the Committee for Recognition / Certification of Skills of ISCAP / Polytechnic University of Porto. He is the vice-president of IADITI—International Association for Digital Transformation and Technological Innovation
Rui Alexandre Castanho holds an International Ph.D. on Sustainable Planning in Borderlands. Nowadays, he is a vice-dean for Sustainable Development at the WSB University, Poland, and a visitor professor at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He is an European Climate Pact Ambassador. Besides, he completed a post-doc researcher on the GREAT Project, University of Azores, Ponta Delgada, Portugal. Moreover, he has graduated in Green Spaces Engineering and Agricultural Engineering and holds a Master's Degree in Planning, Audit, and Control in Urban Green Spaces. He is also the author and/or editor of 20 books, more than a 130 indexed peer review papers, 90 indexed book chapters, 90 conference papers, and made several presentations worldwide academic events as keynote speaker. Also, he was awarded the Doctor Honoris Causa title in Lima-Peru by (UPCI).
