Info autore

David Cann
has spent more than 25 years as a professor and researcher investigating ceramic materials for electronics applications. After moving to Oregon in 2005, he became captivated by the beauty of his natural surroundings. As an avid hiker, his life is filled with colorful wildflowers, vibrant landscapes, captivating minerals, and abundant wildlife in the Coastal and Cascade mountain range near his home. His curiosity fed the desire to learn more about the science behind the colorful outdoor universe which led him to develop a colloquium course about color for Oregon State University, where he currently teaches.  His desire to share the intrinsic wonder and awe of the world of color motivated the writing of this book.
