Info autore

Frans C. Stades, DVM, PhD, Dip. ECVO, was Associate Professor of Veterinary Ophthalmology at the Utrecht University from 1972 to 2006. He earned his PhD studying PHTVL/PHPV in Dobermanns. A Charter Diplomate and the first President of the ECVO, he continues to work at a specialist referral clinic. He is an Officer in the Dutch Order of Oranje- Nassau, and an Honorary Member of the ECVO.

Michael H. Boevé, DVM, PhD, Dip. ECVO, was appointed Diplomate of the ECVO in 1993. In 2020 he retired as an Associate Professor of Veterinary Ophthalmology from Utrecht University. At present (2025), he remains active as a Visiting Professor of Ophthalmology at Hannover University of Veteri-nary Medicine and as a clinician at Medisch Centrum voor Dieren, a specialist referral clinic in Amsterdam.

Together with their co-authors, they present their expert knowledge from the veterinary universities in The Netherlands, Austria, Sweden and Switzerland,
