Debs is an experienced teacher and sports coach. She is committed to evidence-based practice in education and has held various roles in schools related to professional learning. She enjoys the challenge of continuing to develop her own practice and is particularly interested in curriculum and task design. Debs enjoys sports, the outdoors, and is passionate about active travel. In 2015 she took two years away from education to cycle around the world. She hopes to help pupils find enjoyment and confidence in being physically active. Debs is currently Head of PE at Crown Hills Community College, Leicester.
