Bringing together perspectives from the fields of religious studies, history, philosophy, history of law, economics, and sociology, this volume analyzes practices of relating to landed property in Europe and North America as a means of both centering and destabilizing property claims. How is space conceived and constituted via historical and religious claims to landed property? How is dispossession enacted and theorized in changing property orders?
