This 19th century book is a Manx language translation of Thomas Wilson's "A Short and Plain Instruction for the Better Understanding of the Lord's Supper". Wilson was the Bishop of Sodor and Man, and was a prominent figure in the Church of England in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The Manx translation was done by John Kelly, a native speaker of Manx, and reflects the unique language and culture of the Isle of Man.
