In this book you will meet around 450 different book artists. Mainly from Sweden, many though internationally active, but also quite a few from Denmark and Germany. The only way to really see the Swedish scene must include neighbouring artists, because artists¿ books is a genre that know no limits - whether national or artistical.
This is indeed the first survey of artists¿ books from a Swedish point of view. Each chapter is an essay, a way to see and understand artists¿ books from different views - like The social room, The Body, Berlin, The workshop, The library and archive etc. Each chapter being a story of its own.
