The Lion and the Leopard (Köör ku Kuac) is the fifth book of AKBM kids' books. The
AKBM books are mainly for home readings to promote Dinka literacy at home. This kids'
book (The Lion and the Leopard) is written in simple Dinka to encourage easy reading and
understanding. Various pictures have been used to aid understanding and reading. This book
is written in a descriptive format not in story telling form. For example, it describes the daily
actions and the features of the Lion and the Leopard.
