One of the important concerns of an institution is to give importance to records that can serve as a historical and legal tools essential in arriving at a decision. The study aimed to determine the extent of the records management knowledge and practices of academic personnel, to identify the strong and weak areas in records management knowledge and practices, and to draft a program to address the weak areas and problems in records management. The respondents were the academic personnel from the different offices of a University in the Philippines. The survey questionnaire was based from the checklist for proper records management practices with modifications appropriate within the context of university. The study found out that both the extent of knowledge and practices in records management of personnel were found as "moderate" in all aspects except for "records access" having "high knowledge".

Obtuvo el título de Máster en Educación con especialización en Biblioteconomía y el de Doctora en Gestión Educativa en la Universidad Saint Mary's en 2008 y 2016, respectivamente.
