This book highlights the design principles of ground based radio-navigation systems used in solving navigation tasks in the airfield and on air routes. Dr. Skrypnik is Professor and Chair of the Department of Aviation Radio Equipment at the Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation. He is an Honored Worker of high professional education of Russian Federation (2004), and a Full Member of the Russian Academy of natural sciences. He is an author of more than 100 scientific publications, 12 professional textbooks and aids on aviation radio equipment.
