This edition brings, how remote unelectrified villages can be electrified by integrating Renewable Energy sources.It presents basic control and optimization techniques for Integrated and Hybrid Energy Systems. A case study has been discussed, in which Integrated Renewable Energy System (solar,SHP, wind) had been designed and analyzed for the electrification of remote village of Jammu and Kashmir.

Sheikh Suhail Mohammad is a PhD student with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Srinagar. His research interests include power systems, renewable energy systems and intelligent control for micro and smart grids. He did his B.Tech in Electrical and Renewable Energy Engineering and M.Tech in Power systems.
