Larnelle Harris is a world-renowned vocalist who is admired by peers and fans alike for his majestic tenor voice. He is the only person in history to be a member of the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, the Amateur Radio Hall of Fame and the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame. Larnelle has garnered numerous accolades for his music, including five Grammy Awards, eleven Dove Awards (three of which were for Male Vocalist of the Year), and a Stellar Award, among other honors. He is one of a handful of celebrities to receive the Ad Council's Silver Bell Award for Distinguished Public Service in recognition of his song "Mighty Spirit" as the theme music for the longest-running Public Service Announcement in television history. Larnelle was honored by his home state of Kentucky with the Governor’s Lifetime Achievement Award in the Arts, making him the first Christian artist to receive the honor. He has garnered nineteen #1 radio singles and countless top 10 hits. Songs such as "How Excellent Is Thy Name," "I Miss My Time With You," "I've Just Seen Jesus," and his signature song, "Amen," are now considered modern classics. Larnelle resides in Louisville, Kentucky.

Larnelle has been represented by The Adams Group publicity and marketing firm for over 23 years. The campaign for Larnelle’s book will include all the major media outlets in the Christian marketplace including, but not limited to: Focus on the Family, 700 Club, TBN, Daystar, Moody Radio Network, American Family Radio network – all of which have previously welcomed Larnelle has a guest. Additionally, Kathie Lee Gifford is a huge fan of Larnelle so a media tour of mainstream shows on Fox News Channel, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, Hallmark, etc. will be pursued.
The Adams Group will also be creating 1-2 minute radio shows hosted by Larnelle to coincide with the book launch. These shows will be pitched to an in-house list of radio stations of all formats, including music and talk stations that have either played Larnelle’s music or had him as a guest (the list is approximately 800 stations nationwide.) These shows will feature Larnelle talking about life lessons that coincide with his new book. Radio stations are always looking for “filler” type shows for the top and bottom of the hour, and this show would fill that need immediately for numerous stations. And of course, the show would promote the new book. Larnelle has a long-standing relationship with radio over the span of his career and we feel they will welcome this show with open arms.
The Adams Group will be doing direct marketing campaigns to churches as well as a consumer database of Larnelle fans developed over the course of his career. A targeted social media campaign will begin to increase followers as well as promote the new book. An EPK of video interview footage, as well as a book trailer, are also planned.
