Excerpt from Annual Message of the Governor of Ohio, to the Fifty-Sixth General Assembly, at the Regular Session Commencing January 4, 1864
In compliance with the provision of our Constitution, which requires the Gov cruor to communicate to the General Assembly the condition of the State, and recommend such measures as he may deem expedient, I address you.
The condition of my health for the past few weeks, and my present indisposi tion. Will account for the brevity of the communication.
