Paul Bowman is a lecturer, martial artist and serious Bruce Lee fan. He teaches cultural studies at Cardiff University. He is an expert on the phenomenon that is Bruce Lee and he wrote Theorizing Bruce Lee: Film – Fantasy – Fighting – Philosophy, Beyond Bruce Lee: Chasing the Dragon Through Film, Philosophy and Popular Culture and The Rey Chow Reader as well as many other academic books and papers. He is often called on to comment on Bruce Lee in the media, including for the BBC, and he appears in the 2012 documentary movie I Am Bruce Lee.
