Having studied Information Sciences, Psychology, and New German Literature, she worked for several media companies and since 1998 for SAP. There she has taken on several roles before her current position, ranging from technical documentation to product management. For example, she was responsible for the concept, realisation, and management of the SAP NetWeaver Developer's Guide.
