Le poème d'Homère est un détour permettant de penser les enjeux d'une éventuelle conquête de l'Europe par l'Allemagne nazie : la menace est celle du malheur de la colonisation, autrement dit de la destruction d'une cité, milieu d'institutionnalisation d'un esprit, de principes et de relations humaines irréductibles à la force.
