As the artistic director of Young Chicago Authors, founder of Louder Than A Bomb: The Chicago Youth Poetry Festival, and professor at the University of Illinois-Chicago-where he teaches hip-hop aesthetics-he's mentored thousands of young writers, artists and musicians.
