This book will give you a basic idea about helicopter noises and their affect on various phenomena. Reduction of helicopter noise was really a conundrum and this book addresses a simple method which will reduce the Blade Vortex Interaction (BVI) noise of helicopter rotor blades. Through the application of this method, it was possible to reduce almost 6-7 dB noise of the prototype rotor blades of helicopter. The motivation for working on this topic came from a TV show entitled 'NARCOS' which I think should be shared to my readers and motivate them for research. I was watching this show and suddenly a scene caught my sight. The scene was about a fail mission of DEA as the noise of helicopter alarmed the miscreant to escape. I was so triggered then to reduce the noise of helicopter so that military mission can success in every way. I believe this book will motivate a lot of researchers out there who are trying to work on reducing helicopter noises.
