Informationen zum Autor In 1955, Edward Robert Charles Williams was the first person in the world to present paperfolding on television, on the BBC children's programme 'Jigsaw'. The next year his first book, 'Paper Magic', illustrated by Rolf Harris was published. In October 1967, the British Origami Society was founded independently by a small group of enthusiasts who appointed Bob to be their honorary president. Bob created a worldwide reputation, both for the quality of his magid performances and also for his own new illusions. He died at St. Mary's Hospital in London on 23rd February 1978, deeply mourned by paper folders, magicians and by the general public alike.
