Slawomira Kolsut untersucht den sozialen Ansatz im Fremdsprachenunterricht als Fortsetzung der Konzepte des handlungsorientierten Ansatzes und des aufgabenorientierten Ansatzes. Er ist nicht nur eine konstruktivistische Methode, um Sprachen zu lehren, sondern auch ein soziales Konzept, das sich auf die Reflexion über Lernen, Lehren, Kommunikation und Interaktion unter den Mitlernenden sowie auf die Entwicklung von Einstellungen und Werten bezieht. Ein wichtiges Element dieser Überlegungen ist die Betonung der sozialen und emotionalen Dimensionen, die Emotionen während des Lernprozesses, Engagement sowie Beziehungsaufbau und -pflege im schulischen Umfeld umfassen. Im Mittelpunkt steht das Konzept des sozialen Lernens, das einerseits die menschliche Entwicklung in einer Gemeinschaft unterstützt und andererseits eine moderne Methode des Sprachenlernens ist.
Slawomira Kolsut examines the social approach to foreign language learning and teaching as a continuation of the concepts of the action-oriented approach and the task-based approach. It is not only a constructivist method of language teaching, but also a social concept referring to reflection on learning, teaching, communication and interacting with peers, as well as the development of attitudes and values. One important element of these considerations is the emphasis on the social and emotional aspects, including emotions in the learning process, engagement, and building and maintaining relationships in the school setting. At the heart of this approach is the concept of social learning, which is both a support for human development in a community and a modern method of language learning.

Dr. S¿awomira Kösut ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Angewandte Linguistik der Schlesischen Technischen Universität, Polen. Sie forscht auf dem Gebiet der Psycholinguistik und Neuropädagogik und unterstützt seit Jahren die Entwicklung des Sprachunterrichts in konstruktivistischen und handlungsorientierten Ansätzen, die mit psychologischen Bedingungen im Zusammenhang mit Emotionen im Prozess des Lernens und Lehrens von Fremdsprachen zusammenhängen.
