This book is part of the effort to produce varied leveled readers in Ojibwe. Each page contains 9 words that match the pictures on the page to assist in comprehension without translation. This book contains various pictures about the solar system. Translations for teachers, parents, etc. are in the back of the book. This is a level 9 book for children learning to read in Ojibwe. About the author
This book was created as part of an effort to support Ojibwe language revitalization through accessible and leveled reading materials. The author is an Ojibwe language educator and curriculum developer working with families and communities to raise new speakers.
