This book is a global reflection on disparate religious and philosophical approaches to questions of AI and the particular ways these questions affect East Asian societies. These chapters originate from a conference held at Hong Kong Baptist University in April 2023 on "Ethical and Social Issues in AI: East Asia and Beyond." is an Assistant Professor of Religion and Philosophy and the Associate Director of the Centre for Applied Ethics at Hong Kong Baptist University. He is the author of

is the Associate Dean (Learning and Teaching - Undergraduate) of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, the Director of the Centre for Applied Ethics, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Religion and Philosophy at Hong Kong Baptist University.
