Janice D. Willis is Professor of Religion and Chair ofthe Religion Department at Wesleyan University, where she teaches Sanskrit and Tibetan Buddhism. She is the author of several books and many articlestreating issues in Buddhist philosophy, meditation, sacred biography, and women and Buddhism.
