This work involves a study of the mechanical and tribological behavior of a composite material. An alternating tribometer is used for friction and wear tests. The effect of varying the short glass fiber content on the mechanical properties of PA66, as well as on friction and wear behavior, was studied. The effect of the contact face and the direction of the fibers relative to the direction of relative sliding on friction behavior was also studied.
