About the author

Nirmalangshu Mukherji is a former professor of Philosophy, University of Delhi. Apart from academic work, Mukherji has also been writing on peace, justice and human rights. He has authored two political books, December 13: Terror over Democracy (2005) and Maoists in India: Tribals under Siege (2012). This volume contains a selection of his political articles written mostly after the catastrophic events following 9/11.
