Hazel Gardner is a children’s author who lives in Preston with her human, cat and tortoise family. After a Master's degree and a string of serious jobs, she now enjoys nothing more than bringing her very unserious sense of humour to picture books and children's fiction. When she isn't writing, Hazel can often be found feeding her local murder of crows.Nikki Dyson studied for her Illustration degree in Swindon and since graduating in 2006 has illustrated books for children which include 1,000 Animals and 1,000 Things to Eat (both Usborne) and Flip Flap Dogs (Nosy Crow). She has also illustrated You're Called What? and Zippo the Super Hippo. When she's not busy illustrating, Nikki enjoys reading and watching cartoons. If Nikki had a silly animal name, she would be a Curl-Tufted Doodle Bird. Nikki lives and works from her home in Swindon with her boyriend Zak who is also an illustrator.
