About the author

Clover Robin is a surface pattern designer and illustrator. She grew up in glorious Devon before training and graduating from Leeds College of Art and Design in 2007, followed by a Masters from Central Saint Martins in 2009.

She delights in nature and all things botanical, inspired by a childhood of woodland walks and countryside rambles.

Clover is currently based in Teignmouth, Devon, where all of her artwork is lovingly hand-crafted and printed.
Nick Robinson has been folding paper since the early 80's and is currently the president of the British Origami Society, having been a member for over 30 years. He is a professional origami teacher and travels to schools, libraries, youth clubs, hospitals and art galleries, running origami and paper artwork sessions with people of all ages and physical abilities.

Nick has written and illustrated over 100 origami books, with total world-wide sales into the millions. His website is www.nickorigami.com and there you can find out everything you need to know (and more) about origami and enjoy his ori-blog. He is in his 60s and lives in Sheffield, England with his wife Alison, grown-up children Daisy and Nick, plus cats Rhubarb & Pickle. A former professional musician, Nick still performs solo ambient guitar concerts (www.nickrobinson.co.uk) and records/performs with his band Das Ras (www.dasrad.uk)
