Die Rache der fünf Klingen

Der König von Yusan ist ein Gott und unsterblich, zumindest glaubt das sein Volk. Er soll sterben und dafür wird mit fünf Verräter sein Tod geplant. Aber die fünf müssen erst lernen sich gegenseitig zu vertrauen, denn nur gemeinsam können sie wa erreichen. Das ist allerdings nicht so einfach, denn bisher waren allen Einzelkämpfer und unter ihnen gibt es vielleicht auch einen Verräter.

Bei Five Broken Blades - Verrat ist Pflicht handelt es sich um den Auftaktband einer neuen Reihe, wieviel Bände es geben soll habe ich noch nicht rausgefunden.
Es ist Fantasy, aber das kann man beim Lesen fast vergessen, den die Fantasy-Elemente halten sich stark zurück. Erzählt wird abwechselnd von den fünf Klingenträgern, oder wie man sie auch nennen mag, das machte es für mich besonders lebendig und man konnte gut miterleben, was die fünf im Schilde führen. Jeder hat sein Geheimnis, was er/sie zu verbergen sucht und so wird es spannend und abenteuerlich, und vor allem schnell gelesen, denn man will ja schließlich die Geheimnisse erfahren. Ich fand die Verräter gut gewählt, jeder hatte seine Besonderheit, die Story hat mich sehr gut unterhalten und jetzt warte ich auf die Fortsetzung, damit ich wieder auf eine spannende Fantasiereise gehen kann. Ich fand es Topp.
