About the author










Emma Hill is a Research Fellow in Sociology at the University of Edinburgh, working on the GLIMER (Governance and Local Integration of Migrants and Europe's Refugees) Project.

Maria Angeli is a researcher, trainer and project coordinator at the Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies.

Nasar Meer is Professor of Race, Identity and Citizenship at the University of Edinburgh and is the Principal Investigator of the JPI ERA Net / Horizon 2020 GLIMER project.

Dr Claudio Di Maio is Assistant professor of 'European Union Law' at the University of Calabria.

Dr Erica Righard is an Associate Professor at the Department of Social Work and a Research Fellow at Malmö Institute for Studies of Migration, Diversity and Welfare (MIM), both at Malmö University, Sweden.
