This story is about a little pen who is tired of living in the bottom of a handbag, he wants to get out and see the world but is too afraid.


When the opportunity to escape arises he bravely takes it. Despite some narrow escapes he is found by a new owner. A pilot who takes the little pen to work with her.


He sits in her pocket every day and sees the whole world. His dreams have finally come true.

About the author

Wendy writes books for children ranging from first readers through to middle grade fiction. The majority of her stories are used by All Aboard Learning for use with their All Aboard Phonics programme in schools. Wendy has also previously self-published a middle grade adventure story, Katie and the Kiwis.
