The dead will tell tales ...
Camden mortuary technician Cassie Raven has always had an affinity with death. Unsurprising, given her parents died in a car crash when she was four.
At least, that's what she was told. But that was a lie - her father is not dead. Until recently, he was in prison for murdering her mother. Now he's out - and he's looking for her.
Cassie is unsettled having a killer on her trail - even if he is her father. Though she always wanted a parent, she doesn't want to end up like her mother.
But he says he didn't do it. And a part of Cassie believes him.
To find the truth, Cassie must turn detective. As she seeks answers to her past, help is to be found in inexplicable places - for the dead are ready to talk.
