Focus of this book is on the basics of shell scripts/programming. It explains the basic concepts related to shell prompt and shell scripts, defining the shell variables and its types. Shell array and shell operators are explored to make the learner understand the methods of defining and accessing array values and also know about various types of operators used in shell scripts.
