They find Slimshanks in various places around the globe caught in situations that range from the miraculous and terrifying to the absurd. About the author

Bob Machin writes and homesteads in central Vermont. He had spent plenty of time in Latin America but now grows food for the family, squeezes apples in his cider mill and boils maple syrup. He has authored a previous Vermont book, "At loose in the Puckerbrush."
